Frequently asked questions

  1. What types of debt do you collect?
    a. We act on behalf of private individuals or companies . We pursue debtors in Spain and in the United Kingdom, Holland, France, Germany and across most of Western and Eastern Europe .

  2. What types of debt don't you collect?
    a. We do not repossess properties or vehicles, or evict tenants.

  3. How much are your fees?
    a. See fees and services section on this site.

  4. The person who owes me money no longer lives in Spain, can you help?
    a. Yes, we can pursue debtors across Western and Eastern Europe. See Q 1.

  5. I have no paperwork or loan agreement, can you help?
    a. Yes, we act before you need to appoint lawyers and can do this without signed agreements between you and the debtor.

  6. How far back can you go. Eg I have a debt from 5 years ago.
    a. We would normally chase debts where the last contact with the debtor is within the last 3 years. If you have an older debt, contact us for advice.

  7. Is there a minimum or maximum debt you deal with?
    a. There is no maximum. The minimum for an individual debt is €500.

  8. Do you offer any guarantee that I will get my debt repaid?
    a. We cannot guarantee repayment but see the ´fees and services´ section, there is no risk to you in asking us to act for you.

  9. My company has many small debtors, can you offer a service for me?
    a. Yes , please see the ´fees and services´ part of this website. We have a corporate service which can be tailored to your needs.

  10. Do I have to meet or talk to my debtor face to face?
    a. No, we do all of that for you. We act as an intermediary between you and your debtor. All contacts will come from us.

  11. Are your fees negotiable?
    a. Please see the ´fees and services´ part of the site. You can choose the most suitable option for you.

  12. If you reclaim the debt, how do I get my money ?
    a. We instruct the debtor to pay directly to your Bank Account, not to us.

  13. What information do you need from me in order to pursue a debt?
    a. full name /company details of the debtor, plus any addresses you have. NIF, NIE, passport details if known. all known telephone and email details. total amount of the debt, date due and how it arose (copy invoices or contracts are useful) your bank details (we instruct the debtor to pay to you, not to us). any other information you think is relevant. Eg best language to use in communication with the debtor.

  14. I already have a court action in progress, can you help?
    a. It depends what type of court action, and how far it has progressed, contact us to discuss further.

  15. How do I know how things are progressing?
    a. We give you a short progress update at the end of every month.

  16. How long does your process take?
    a. We normally take a case for an initial period of 3 months , after that we do a report based on our findings. This report indicates the next steps you should take.
